Slopestyle and Big Air Athletes are Headed to X Games Norway

Mar. 7, 2017

Oslo, Norway, March 7, 2017 – This week, Freestyle Canada’s slopestyle and big air athletes are headed to Oslo, Norway as they look to make their mark at X Games Norway. The iconic action sports event has acted as a launching pad for many of the sport’s legends. The group of Canadian veterans and up-and-coming athletes will be on the hunt as the event plays an important role in the Olympic qualification process.

Alex Beaulieu-Marchand will look to gain valuable momentum ahead of the World Championships, as earlier this season, he managed to claim third at the Aspen X Games. Slopestyle and big air veteran, Kaya Turski will also be present and looking for redemption, as she nearly missed the podium at the 2017 Aspen X Games Big Air. Slopestyle athletes Alex Bellemare and Evan McEachran are hoping to build some confidence in anticipation for the upcoming FIS World Championships. Noah Morrison, up-and-coming big air athlete, will be competing in his first ever X Games.
