Career highlights:
  • Making the Canadian National Halfpipe team
  • Competing in the 2017 World Championships

Megan started skiing at the very young age of 3 years old. She grew up in a big family with two older sisters and an older brother and their parents’ love for skiing brought them to spend many weekends together in the mountains.

Megan’s interest in half pipe skiing stems from enjoying watching the women’s events on television growing up. Her favourite skier in the world was Sarah Burke and her contribution to freeskiing still inspires her to this day. The Sylvan Lake native is the winner of the 2015 Nor-Am Cup.

During her downtime in the summer when she is not training on the pipe somewhere in the world, Megan enjoys swimming and boating in her lake town. In the winter season, she likes to go ice-skating with her two dogs.
