Sandra Haziza: A New Beginning

Vancouver, BC – Freestyle Canada announced today that after a 7-year tenure with the organization, Sandra Haziza will be leaving to take on a new role with another organization. Sandra joined Freestyle Canada in 2015 on a contract basis working in Sport Development and has since evolved and grown to fill a large number of critical roles, most recently acting as the Director – Operations & Partnerships. Freestyle Canada CEO characterized Sandra’s contribution by stating: “Sandra’s diverse skillset, passion and willingness to “jump in”  particularly as the organization faced the many challenges over the last number of years has been exemplary. Sandra will be missed but she leaves behind a stronger organization from her time here.”

Although a difficult decision for Sandra, she had a unique opportunity that will provide her with new challenges furthering her professional growth and longer-term personal objectives. “I have deeply enjoyed my time at Freestyle Canada and thankful for the challenges and opportunities that were presented to me. Although I am sad to leave, I will cherish the relationships I have built and continue to work to be a valuable contributor to the Canadian sport landscape.”

Sandra will work through transition until her last day, September 6th. The Freestyle community wishes Sandra great successes in her next adventure.
