Alex-Anne Gagnon

When Alex-Anne Gagnon and her older brother, Marc-Antoine, grew up learning to ski on the hills of Val Saint-Côme, they never would have imagined that one day they would share the honour of being national champions.

That’s exactly what they accomplished together in 2015 in front of dozens of family and friends who came out to watch the two win the dual moguls national titles in Saint-Côme, QC.

It was fitting to win the title there and next to her brother considering he has been a source of inspiration and motivation to her during her entire life. The Gagnon’s are certainly a skiing family. The parents, Patrice and Diane, met on a ski resort and introduced the sport to their kids.

Today, Val Saint-Côme is one of the premier stops on the FIS World Cup tour where the Gagnon siblings get to compete in front of family and friends, and where Patrice has served on the organizing committee for years.

Alex-Anne has been with the national team since 2013 and officially promoted to the World Cup team in 2015.
