Simon Lemieux

Simon Lemieux started skiing at the age of two with his father, Richard, who was an avid skier himself. Simon loved the sports at a young age, but a life-altering moment happened when he was eight.

Simon went to ski at Mont-Tremblant and happened to run into legendary freestyle skier Jean-Luc Brassard who gave him the opportunity to ski some mogul runs that afternoon with him. Immediately after that day, Simon asked him parents to sign him up for a mogul team.

When he’s not skiing, Simon enjoys spending time with his parents since it is difficult to see team during the season. An avid fan of hockey as well, Simon loves cheering for the Montreal Canadiens and playing the sport when he gets an opportunity.

Simon is currently taking photography and videography classes and states that one of his favourite things in the word is spicy sauce that he enjoys putting on almost all his food.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
  • 5th at the FIS World Cup at Voss-Myrkdalen (dual moguls)
  • 7th at the 2014 FIS World Cup at Deer Valley (moguls)
  • 12th at the 2012 FIS World Cup at Mont-Gabriel (dual moguls)
