Zac Hoffman

In 2013 Zac Hoffman was on his way to film school before getting the call that he had made the Canadian Freestyle Ski Mogul Team. Now the Thornhill, Ontario, native, is finding a way to blend his two passions to share with the skiing community by creating and producing freestyle skiing films.

Hoffman started learning to make his own films and edits when he got his first camera at age 13. As he gained more experience, he started to branch out beyond the realm of action sports to other aspects of film.

Over the years, Zac’s film-making has expanded from ski and park edits to include more in depth features, such as his work with OMTV for the Ontario Mogul team, his “Bumps: A Mogul Skiing Documentary” film, and his recent work on the “Robbie’s Rebound” series.

A member of the national team since the 2014-15 season, Zac intends to attend film school at Capilano University once his career is over to broaden his film making knowledge. While he is interested in continuing with action sports film making, he is keeping an open mind when it comes to his long-term film career.
