Athlete Bio

Émile started skiing at the age of 7 after spending a few years in France. Since he lived near several ski resorts in the St-Sauveur Valley, his parents decided to sign him up for ski lessons at Mont Olympia.

During the three winters he spent at Mont Olympia, Émile would always head to the mogul run and the park after lessons to have fun. Since Mont Olympia didn’t have a freestyle ski team, Émile moved to Sommet Gabriel at the age of 10.

As part of the Sommet Gabriel program, trampoline lessons were offered by Rémi Bélanger, who was also a recruiter for acrobatic skiing. Seeing Émile’s potential, Rémi invited him to train with him in aerials. Over the years, Émile became increasingly drawn to aerials and was recruited to the Quebec team in 2018, then to the national team in 2020.
